Hey y’all, it’s Winnie 🍯 I’ve infiltrated PTK for the month 🤫 My response to Larissa’s poem from last week is a walk-about poem, where I take a walk and I bring my notebook out for a spin. I take notes on top of cigarette burnt bollards, on bridge railings, or leaning against walls or cars. When it’s not too windy I like to go to a dog run at Tempelhof Field and write there too. This one here was written on Oberbaumbrücke. If you haven’t figured out yet, I live in Berlin and I never want to leave 🌯
warschauer straße on saturday night
thinking of you. you must be out too. an old man enjoying a chimney cake by himself. it’s a bread roll with ice cream in it and sprinkles. girls shining in their halter necks. hungry eyes at the bus stop wanting to escape the cold. the moon so low and large and clear people are stopping to take photos. can’t really capture it with a phone camera but i like that they are trying. i try too. my non-friends walk past. “does it say how many minutes?” fast forward the present. beggars asking for an apology.
Your prompt this week is to walk around where you live and take pen-and-paper notes. Optional: think of someone. Bonus: If you own a Nintendo Switch, let me know which game you’re playing in the comments - I’m obsessed with Fire Emblem Three Houses rn.

Paper Mario! But I need a new game...
