"Ponyboy" Giveaway and Writing Contest Terms & Conditions
WRITING CONTEST TERMS AND CONDITIONS:
For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, "The Promoter" refers to Poetry Trapper Keeper (how fancy!) whose Instagram handle is @poetrytrapperkeeper and whose email is poetrytrapperkeeper@gmail.com and Substack is poetrytrapperkeeper.com. The "Prize" refers to one physical copy of Eliot Duncan’s debut novel PONYBOY (ISBN: 978-1-324-05122-0).
To enter this CONTEST the entrant must comment a response in any of the ELIOT DUNCAN X POETRY TRAPPER KEEPER Substack posts OR email the response to poetrytrapperkeeper@gmail.com. This response may be a poem, reflection, anecdote, story, whatever you are moved to write.
ONE (1) winner will be selected by PONYBOY author ELIOT DUNCAN based on his own judgment criteria. This selection will be done on or before June 8th 2023 and the winner will be notified after this date after June 9th 2023.
No purchase necessary. Winners will not be required to pay to enter the contest.
Entrants must be over 18 years old on the date of their entry.
Instagram, Substack, and Google are not in any way affiliated or involved in the Contest.

ELIOT DUNCAN’S winner selection is final. If the entrant’s entry is not selected, no correspondence will be entered into and no justification will be given (sorry!).

By entering the competition you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. All entries must be received by 10pm gmt on June 7th 2023. Four (4) winners will be selected at random by The Promoter on June 8th 2023 and the winner will be notified after this date after June 9th 2023.
The Promoters competitions with entry via Instagram and/or Google Forms are open to anyone, regardless of country or region. Four (4) winners will be chosen at random from all entrants and across all platforms.

There are two ways to enter for a chance to win the giveaway and each entrant is limited to two (2) entries; one (1) through Instagram and one (1) through Google Forms.
Option 1: Entrant shall enter the competition via Instagram by following @poetrytrapperkeeper and commenting on the pinned post (“PONYBOY GIVEAWAY”).
The Prize will be awarded to a randomly selected winner who has entered on Instagram, using a random number generator.
Option 2: Entrant shall enter the competition via Google Forms by submitting the form linked in our Substack (www.poetrytrapperkeeper.com) and available here (https://forms.gle/maamzGLeCyf41U4c8)

CONTEST AND GIVEAWAY DISCLAIMERS (we know this is boring but we are just covering our asses):
The Promoter will not be held liable if the named prize becomes unavailable or cannot be fulfilled.
The Promoter will not be held liable for any failure of receipt of entries. The Promoter takes no responsibility for any entries which are lost, delayed, illegible, corrupted, damaged, incomplete or otherwise invalid.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Promoter’s liability under or in connection with the competition or these terms and conditions shall be limited to the cost price of the Prize in question.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, The Promoter shall not be liable under or in connection with these terms and conditions, the competition or any Prize for any indirect, special or consequential cost, expense, loss or damage suffered by a participant even if such cost, expense, loss or damage was reasonably foreseeable or might reasonably have been contemplated by the participant and the promoter and whether arising from breach of contract, tort, negligence, breach of statutory duty or otherwise.
Prizes are non-negotiable, non-transferable and non-refundable. No cash alternative is available. Where a Prize becomes unavailable for any reason, the promoter reserves the right to substitute that prize for a prize of equal or higher value.
The name, address, email address and phone number of the winner must be provided to The Promoter if requested and will be shared to enable fulfillment of the Prize.
In the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond The Promoter’s reasonable control, the promoter reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition or these terms and conditions, either in whole or in part, with or without notice.
The Promoter's decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
The Contest and giveaway winners' names and social media usernames may be posted on the social media profiles of The Promoter after the winner has been selected.
