Hello devoted subscribers! Yesterday was the autumnal equinox (wow, that’s strange to say as someone who has just moved to the Northern Hemisphere after a lifetime of September springs)! The air here in Vancouver is getting crisper and I am feeling totally overwhelmed by the constant influx of terrible news (& homework). Everything is pumpkin spice and everything hurts. If John helped us say good bye to summer with last week’s piece, Kristen is making sure we know it’s back to (Sunday) school season. Is there something inherently religious about fall for you as well? Or am I the only one looking for salvation?
Anyway, consider this piece filed under the Poetry Trapper Keeper folder dedicated to poems with catholic imagery…
