To our first-ever poetry slumber party!!

Hi, everyone!! Exciting new! If you live in Amsterdam, Kelly and Larissa are going to be hosting their first-ever Poetry Slumber Party with our BFF’s at 🌸 Pansy 🌸 on Friday, October 6th from 6-9 pm!! You’re invited <3.

It will be a night of healing our inner tweens and 🌟 celebrating the publication of our first zines 🌟. You can expect:

• A poetry talent show featuring our hot poet zine contributors

• The 2000’s sleepover playlist of your dreams

• A friendship bracelet making station

• Drinks and snacks

• The chance to purchase our zines and stickers!!

• And more!

This is a FREE event, so all you have to do is show up! Our mom will drive if yours picks us up. Bring your besties (real or imaginary). Plus, we’ll give you a free sticker if you show up in your PJs. 💕

But Wait, There’s More ✨🎨

We’re also going to be hosting TWO poetry and ceramic painting workshops at 🌸 Pansy 🌸 in Amsterdam on Wednesday, October 4th from:

🌟 2.30 - 5.00pm

🌟 6.00 - 8.30pm

In this workshop, you’ll get the chance to immortalize your secrets, notes, quotes, confessions, crushes, etc. onto a one-of-a-kind ceramic object of your choice. 

Kelly and Larissa will guide you through the steps of collecting your thoughts into poems, giving your words colors, and materializing them onto a day to day object. Be it a mug, bowl, plate or knick knack holder, we hope you leave this workshop with a keepsake reminder to infuse poetry into your daily life. 

Each session will run for 2.5 hours and includes the following:

• Collaborative writing exercises 

• One small ready-to-paint, pre-made object of your choice

• Materials to use during the session: glazes, pencils, brushes, tape, and all necessary stationery

• A demonstration and guidance throughout the session lead by Larissa & Lina

• Light snacks & beverages

• Firing and handling service

• An invite to our Poetry Slumber Party on Friday, October 6th where you can hang out, pick up your ceramic, and read your poem at our open mic! (Sleepover vibes, not an actual sleepover)
