Hiii. Za woka genava<3 (That means "I think you're hot" in Simlish. Yes I’m bilingual). It's Soph, here for my first (!) official PTK post. I’m responding to Larissa’s gorg tamagochi poem from last week with this one because I’ve been procrastinating my thesis by playing a lot of Sims.
the sims 4: seasons
spring repeats: white blossom dawn, dusk the self- same, until each year budsets a new grief: sometimes hydrangeas, sometimes a dead foal. the new wisdom: if you work hard enough, you can age backwards. it’s possible to make & obliterate anyone in a day, to scrape a living selling lemons, there is no husband you cannot steal, no child easy to feed. you can grind on Death at the discotheque, but you can’t plead for your life until he’s ready to take you. i’ve been loved. i’ve been loved like that.
POETRY PROMPT: Your prompt this week is to write a poem about new (as opposed to conventional) wisdom.
Things are hard. Take care of yourselves. Talk to you soon.
