Hello 500+ Poetry Trapper Keepers!! If you’re reading this, I’m probably on the train to Paris right now. And like any good American in preparation for this trip, I did my annual screening/crying to Before Sunset and wrote a poem about past selves because Pinkberry was in my dreams again (5/5 stars).

ballet fashion intern B side trauma selective applause atomic sentience like my… validation necklace? the divine mundane could really go for a 9 p.m. East Village Pinkberry right now a green-eyed algorithm hands you back your black teddy bear in a bar on fire on your birthday have you ever sprinted through Amsterdam Centraal clutching a bouquet of flowers at one in the morning because I have late stage capital situationship superhero syndrome queen of the underworld I’m a tree and I’m being shaken and I’m falling off the vine my commitment issues have gasped suddenly I have a desire to dress again my just in time couch tea baby, you are gonna miss that plane (I know)
Your poetry homework for the week is to write down your dreams. Clearly, there’s something happening in the cosmos right now (or maybe it’s just the solar flares) but like, you never know what kind of epiphanies the divine mundane of the dream world might give you. ðŸ’
